About Us
Dr. Omolara Olasunbo Loko
Dr. Omolara Olasunbo Loko is the Executive Director of the Lumuro Foundation for the Creative Arts & Tourism. Dr. Loko is an associate professor of music and ethnomusicology researcher based in Lagos, Nigeria.
In addition to earning undergraduate and post-graduate degrees in music from prestigious Nigerian universities, Dr. Loko was trained as a flutist by the distinguished African American music educator – Dr. Richard Donald Smith of New York, USA.
Dr. Loko is a Fellow of the Association of Nigerian Musicologists and a Past-President of the Society of Music Educators. of Nigeria.
